Minor Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Energy

After a successful first round of this minor in 2010-2011, the next batch of inspired bachelor students took over.

Four groups of students have started to work on their Technical Project in September 2011. Topics and clients of their assignments are presented here:

1. New products with higher market values from manure applications.
   This assignment has been provided by the Environmental Office of Eindhoven and region.
2. New routes of refining bio-oils by enzymatic processes.
   This assignment was provided by "Ingenia"; an engineering company located in Eindhoven.
3. New transport system & energy generation; Acht to Eindhoven Airport.
4. New energy production at Eindhoven Airport; through sustainable energy technologies. Both assignments were provided by Eindhoven Airport.

After finalizing their Technical Projects in November 2011, the students will continue to work on the same topics to develop business cases using the results of their technical study as basic input.
